GRANDparent Adventures
Throughout the summer, Hunt Hill will be offering an afternoon camp that will allow grandparents and their grandchildren to spend time together in nature. Spend the afternoon showing off your skills and bonding with your grandchildren in these fun-filled programs. Each program includes learning activities, games and/or craft and swim time with the kids – feel free to splash around too, if you’d like.
Time: 1:00pm – 4:00pm
Cost: $10/person or $35 for a family of 4 or more
June 16 – Campfire Songs and Stories
Learn, laugh and sing around a campfire. Hunt Hill educators will share interactive stories, camp songs and jokes that are sure to make the rest of your summer campfires more entertaining.
July 7 – Housing for Bats and Birds
Pre-registration is REQUIRED by June 25 for this event! Learn more aboutthe lives of birds and bats, then get the opportunity to build a home for them. Choose a bird or bat house and get assistance in construction. Each family will get to take home a home!
**There is a $5 additional fee for each house **
August 11 – Canoeing
Paddle around Hunt Hill’s Twin Lakes in this afternoon water adventure. Participants will learn various paddle strokes, then partner up and take off as we glide across the water. A relaxed way to enjoy a beautiful setting with the grandchildren.
