GRANDparent Adventures
Throughout the summer, Hunt Hill will be offering an afternoon camp that will allow grandparents(or adult chaperones) and their grandchildren to spend time together in nature. Spend the afternoon showing off your skills and bonding with your grandchildren in these fun-filled programs. Each program includes learning activities, games and/or craft and swim time with the kids – feel free to splash around too, if you’d like.
Program Fee: $12/person or $40/family of 4 or more
Member: $10/person or $35/family of 4 or more

FISHING

Bring your fishing pole to Hunt Hill, or use one of ours for the afternoon, as we practice our casting skills and then head to the lake to try our luck at catch & release fishing.

BUTTERFLIES

Swallowtails, Skippers, Admirals and more! Take butterfly identification beyond the
Monarch by hiking through the Hunt Hill prairie to see what resident species we can identify and enjoy.

WATER EXPLORERS

Take the afternoon to enjoy two of Hunt Hill’s most popular activities, ponding and canoeing. During ponding you’ll investigate the animal life that lives in our lakes then have time to explore the water by canoe
