Hunt Hill Field Trips:

Our diverse habitats and miles of hiking trails provide the perfect setting for students to immerse themselves in hands-on studies of the environment. We offer day and residential programs throughout the spring and fall, as well as special summer programs.

Our prairie platform, program learning center, dormatories, acres of diverse habitat and staff provide an excellent day or overnight program for all grade levels.

All programs are age-appropriate, meet Wisconsin State Standards and can be adjusted from 45 minute to 2 hour sessions based on group needs. Typically schools choose 3 to 4 programs that students rotate through during their visit. Programs are available dependent on staffing and season. Check with our Program Director for availability.

 In addition to our on-site programs, we also offer outreach programs to local schools.

cakeHunt Hill offers themed birthday party programs for youth turning 5-12 years old.

Birthday parties include an hour and a half long nature program led by a Hunt Hill naturalist, who will guide your group through activities and games.

Choose your Party Theme:

Survival – Learn how to survive in the WILD! Participants will learn how to make fire, shelter and find food and water!

Wildlife Detectives – Explore Hunt Hill as we go on a ‘hunt’ for signs of our animal friends. We’ll look for and learn about tracks, scat and calls.

Nature’s Challenge Course – Participants will see what its like to be an animal as they compete for food, try to stay alive in predator-prey games and attempt to camouflage themselves.

*Additional Themes available upon request

Cost: $5/child

**There is a $50 minimum fee**

All parties have an outdoor component. Parties are not cancelled due to rain (If weather isn’t ideal, programs will be moved into our Program Learning Center). Please ensure your guests are dressed for the weather.  Costs do not include: party supplies, decorations, refreshments, etc.

Many couples have chosen to hold their very special day at Hunt Hill. Our varied habitats, rustic buildings and manicured lawn and flowerbeds provide the perfect setting for an outdoor wedding.

In addition to our beautiful grounds, we offer a barn loft (great for dances), a dining hall (great for eating and cooking), a library (great for relaxation and a rain plan), and dorms (great for slumber parties).  We also have two cabins, located just up the road, that are perfect for the parents or for the getaway of the bride and groom!
