We are always looking for staff that are enthusiastic, energetic, enjoy the outdoors, are trustworthy and love working with people!
Assistant Maintenence:
The assistant Maintenence employee will work closely with our Head Maintenence employee, Larry, through the months of April-September. Maintenence employees are hardworking, friendly and trustworthy individuals who enjoy working outdoors, can perform a variety of tasks and care about the mission of our nonprofit organization.
Cooks:
Hunt Hill hosts a variety of programs that provide food to our guests. For these reasons, we hire a seasonal head cook and assistant cook. The head cook oversees kitchen operations and works the majority of the kitchen hours, with the assistant cook prepping and filling in when the head cook is off. Hours and days vary throughout the summer based on program scheduling.
Educators:
We provide training to all of our educators regarding facilities, safety procedures, working with children and all the materials needed to provide quality outdoor education programs.
Staff members do not need to have a degree in education or biology; just a love of nature, children and the desire to create meaningful and fun learning experiences for all of our visitors.
