DESCRIPTION:Program Fee: $175/person. Includes lodging\, Saturday lunch and dinner & Sunday breakfast and lunch.\nLocation: Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary\nDate & Time: Saturday\, September 21\, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Sunday\, September 22\, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM\nRegistration is required by September 13th. Limit: 30 people \nHabitat Restoration & Wildlife Management will feature a field tour of 225+ acre property with managed prairie\, savanna\, wetland\, and forest habitats. Presentations will be on attracting wildlife\, forest management\, controlling invasives\, and developing a wildlife plan. \nOn Saturday\, Dr. Damian Vraniak will lead a tour of his property along the Namekagon River and highlight restoration projects involving rare species. Sunday will be led by Jamie Nack\, Extension Wildlife Outreach Specialist. One of only two art museums in the country to win a 2017 National Medal\, the Woodson Art Museum received the nation’s highest museum honor given for significant and exceptional contributions to its community. This award-winning museum has been an annual destination for many nature lovers across Wisconsin. A guided tour will reveal inspiration\, intention\, and overall information about the pieces.
