DESCRIPTION:THIS PROGRAM IS FULL and unable to accept walk-ins. \nSocialize with other nature enthusiasts over snacks and beverages\, and enjoy an engaging presentation from a local expert in a happy-hour atmosphere. Each program features a different presenter at a different location\, so you’re sure to learn something new each time! When not teaching\, his biological survey company (Endangered Resource Services\, LLC) is busy all over WI and MN working on a variety of projects that include aquatic plants\, birds\, forestry and habitat assessment\, butterflies\, freshwater mussels\, and\, the topic of this month’s program – Dragon and Damselflies. Includes lodging\, Saturday lunch and dinner & Sunday breakfast and lunch.\nLocation: Hunt Hill Nature Center\nDate & Time: Saturday\, May 17\, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Sunday\, May 18\, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM\nRegistration is required by May 9th. Limit: 20 people \nTwo-Day Workshops qualify for WI Master Naturalist Advanced Trainings\, but all adults are welcome to register. No prior experience is needed. The workshops include lecture and fieldwork. \nPlease join us for a fun and informative weekend of presentations and guided birding with Bill Volkert\, retired WI DNR educator and naturalist. Bill has been featured as Wisconsin’s bird expert on Wisconsin Public Radio for more than 30 years.  He has traveled the world birding and teaching about birds.
