SUMMARY:Spring Ecology: Reproductive Strategies
DESCRIPTION:Program Fee: $175/person. Includes lodging\, Saturday lunch and dinner & Sunday breakfast and lunch.\nLocation: Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary\nDate & Time: Saturday\, June 8\, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM; Sunday\, June 9\, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM\nRegistration is required by May 31st. Limit: 30 people \nExplore the varied strategies used by insects\, reptiles\, amphibians\, and mammals to live and reproduce. This course includes lecture and fieldwork. Presenters include: herpetologist Alexander Streitz\, author George Feldhammer\, and entomologist Margot Monson. \nOn Saturday\, we explore the weird world of herps (reptiles and amphibians) and their interesting strategies for life and reproduction. Also on Saturday\, George Feldhammer\, who literally wrote the book on mammalogy\, will talk about mammals and their reproduction.
