Includes lodging\, Saturday lunch and dinner & Sunday breakfast and lunch.\nLocation: Hunt Hill Nature Center\nDate & Time: Saturday\, September 6\, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM; Sunday\, September 7\, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM\nRegistration is required by August 22nd. Limit: 20 people \nTwo-Day Workshops qualify for WI Master Naturalist Advanced Trainings\, but all adults are welcome to register. No prior experience is needed. The workshops include lecture and fieldwork. \nA variety of presenters will speak about aquatic invasive species\, shoreland best practices\, fish sticks\, lake and stream monitoring\, and lake and river ecology. SUMMARY:Little Explorers: Bees
DESCRIPTION:Little Explorers is an exciting morning of stories\, crafts\, songs\, and nature activities geared towards 3–6 year olds at Hunt Hill; though all ages are welcome! Every program starts in the Lower Level of the Richard Grand Recreation Hall at Hunt Hill Nature Center\, unless otherwise noted. Guardians must stay for the duration of the program\, and each program will feature a different nature theme. Depending on weather\, we will be outside for a portion of this program. Please dress appropriately to be inside and outside in the weather. \nProgram Fee: Free\, but donations are appreciated.\nLocation: Meet at Lower Level of Richard Grand Recreation Hall\, Hunt Hill Nature Center\nRegistration is not required\, but strongly encouraged. Limit: 35 people \nNOTE: You must register yourself AND your child(ren). GRANDPARENTS\, please have your grandchild’s parents create a free account (they do not have to become a member). Register yourself for a program & then contact us by email or phone (715-635-6543) to register your grandchild. \nThis month’s Little Explorers program’s theme is Bees! Buzz into the world of bees through an informative book that explores beekeeping and the importance of bee hives.
