SUMMARY:Little Explorers: Seeds & Sprouts
DESCRIPTION:Little Explorers is an exciting morning of stories\, crafts\, songs\, and nature activities geared towards 3–6 year olds at Hunt Hill; though all ages are welcome! Every program starts in the Lower Level of the Richard Grand Recreation Hall at Hunt Hill Nature Center\, unless otherwise noted. Guardians must stay for the duration of the program\, and each program will feature a different nature theme. Depending on weather\, we will be outside for a portion of this program. Please dress appropriately to be inside and outside in the weather. \nIn May\, Explorers will learn about seeds and sprouts\, discovering how tiny seeds grow into plants and the importance of pollination in nature. We will read The Tiny Seed by Eric Carle\, and children will paint and plant a terracotta pot. \nProgram Fee: Free\, but donations are appreciated.\nLocation: Meet at Lower Level of Richard Grand Recreation Hall\, Hunt Hill Nature Center\nRegistration is not required\, but strongly encouraged. Limit: 35 people \nNOTE: You must register yourself AND your child(ren). GRANDPARENTS\, please have your grandchild’s parents create a free account (they do not have to become a member).
