SUMMARY:Soup Lunch: Wildlife Winter Survival
DESCRIPTION:Warm yourself with a bowl of soup while enjoying camaraderie and conversation at Hunt Hill Nature Center! Each month features a different guest speaker\, along with a delicious lunch of soup\, crackers\, cheese\, and dessert provided by Hunt Hill. We strongly encourage participants to bring their own bowl\, mug\, and cutlery to reduce waste. To learn more about our Soup Lunch series or to see what other topics we have planned for our Soup Lunch programs\, click here. \nThis program was originally scheduled for Tuesday\, January 21st\, but was rescheduled due to extremely cold temperatures. \nLunch: 12:00 – 12:30 pm; Program: 12:30 – 1:30 pm\nProgram Fee: $10/person; Hunt Hill Members: $7/member\nLocation: Richard Grand Recreation Hall\, Hunt Hill Nature Center\nRegistration is not required\, but strongly encouraged. Limit: 80 people \nWildlife Winter Survival – with Gary Dunsmoor\, Retired WDNR Wildlife Technician \nWe know winter often brings stress and challenges to our native animals. SUMMARY:Little Explorers: Owls
DESCRIPTION:Little Explorers is an exciting morning of stories\, crafts\, songs\, and nature activities geared towards 3–6 year olds at Hunt Hill; though all ages are welcome! Every program starts in the Lower Level of the Richard Grand Recreation Hall at Hunt Hill Nature Center\, unless otherwise noted. Guardians must stay for the duration of the program\, and each program will feature a different nature theme. Depending on weather\, we will be outside for a portion of this program. Please dress appropriately to be inside and outside in the weather. \nProgram Fee: Free\, but donations are appreciated.\nLocation: Meet at Lower Level of Richard Grand Recreation Hall\, Hunt Hill Nature Center\nRegistration is not required\, but strongly encouraged. Limit: 35 people \nNOTE: You must register yourself AND your child(ren). GRANDPARENTS\, please have your grandchild’s parents create a free account (they do not have to become a member).
