SUMMARY:Little Explorers: Thunderstorms
DESCRIPTION:Little Explorers is an exciting morning of stories\, crafts\, songs\, and nature activities geared towards 3–6 year olds at Hunt Hill; though all ages are welcome! Every program starts in the Lower Level of the Richard Grand Recreation Hall at Hunt Hill Nature Center\, unless otherwise noted. Guardians must stay for the duration of the program\, and each program will feature a different nature theme. Depending on weather\, we will be outside for a portion of this program. Please dress appropriately to be inside and outside in the weather. \nProgram Fee: Free\, but donations are appreciated.\nLocation: Meet at Lower Level of Richard Grand Recreation Hall\, Hunt Hill Nature Center\nRegistration is not required\, but strongly encouraged. Limit: 35 people \nNOTE: You must register yourself AND your child(ren). GRANDPARENTS\, please have your grandchild’s parents create a free account (they do not have to become a member). Register yourself for a program & then contact us by email or phone (715-635-6543) to register your grandchild. \nThis month’s Little Explorers program’s theme is Thunderstorms! Journey into the exciting world of thunderstorms with a fun book that captures the power of nature! DESCRIPTION:New in 2025\, Hunt Hill’s Children’s First Aid is offered Saturday\, June 14th. This hour-long program is designed to build kids’ confidence in first aid for minor injuries–no certification. \nGeared towards ages 7-12\, a trained Paramedic will coach children in basic first aid skills. Some things covered include: how to treat surface abrasions\, minor cuts\, how to wash a minor wound\, and how to bandage a minor injury. \nProgram Fee: $5/person\nLocation: Meet at Lower Level of Richard Grand Recreation Hall\, Hunt Hill Nature Center\nRegistration is required by Wednesday\, June 11. SUMMARY:Youth Day Camp (Week 1)
DESCRIPTION:Youth summer day camps have been a long-standing tradition at Hunt Hill! Our day camps typically feature environmental-themed learning activities\, games\, swimming\, and crafts in small\, age-appropriate groups. Camps are interactive and led by a team of trained and enthusiastic educators. Day camps are Monday through Thursday from 9:00am to 4:00pm\, with camper drop-off starting at 8:30am. \nRegistration Information: Registration is required\, and space is limited. Day Camp registration will open in March 2025 with early access to Hunt Hill FAMILY and STUDENT members.
