FreeParticipate in a Citizen Science project at Hunt Hill! Citizen Science empowers ordinary people and volunteers to collect valuable data that contributes to specific scientific research. No prior experience is needed to participate.
Program Fee: Free, but donations are appreciated
Location: Richard Grand Recreation Hall, Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary
Registration is required. Limit: 25 people
The Wisconsin Bumble Bee Brigade training, led by the Wisconsin DNR, will give an overview of bumble bee biology, identification, and how to conduct the bumble bee surveys. As a citizen-based monitoring project, volunteers will learn how to conduct and contribute to long-term monitoring of the state’s native bumble bees. This program will be both indoors and outdoors. Training materials will be provided.
