Rejuvenate your body and mind amidst the woods at Hunt Hill. The day will offer a variety of practices to slow down and immerse yourself in nature. There will be Yoga, Tai Chi, and teachings about nature journaling and the art of slowing down in nature. A vegetarian lunch will be served.

Saturday, September 10th, 2022
9:00 AM – 2:00 PM at Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary; vegetarian lunch included.
Program Fee: $50 per person; Hunt Hill Members: $40 per person.
**REGISTRATION DEADLINE EXTENDED** Registration is required by noon on September 2nd, 2022 so we can order supplies & food for the vegetarian lunch that is included.

Yoga with Lori Blockhus
Lorrie Blockhus, teacher and owner of Om Sweet Om Yoga, will lead you in a gentle, outdoor practice of yoga. Lorrie has taught thousands of hours of Yoga in both private lessons and group classes to people of all ages and abilities. All Yoga classes with Lorrie, regardless of level or style, hold a nice balance of healthy physical alignment and personal expression within the shapes and transitions.
Lorrie’s classes provide you a safe environment where you will be encouraged to challenge your physical and mental patterns, attachments, and aversions without force. You can stretch and strengthen your body, get comfortable exploring your mind and spirit, or a lovely combination of all.
Nature Journaling with Darcy Lilla
Darcy Lilla, naturalist and Program Coordinator at Hunt Hill, will be introducing nature journaling activities and techniques to help you look more closely at the natural world around you and form deeper connections with nature through observation and journaling.


Tai Chi with Will Raich
Will Raich has been practicing Tai chi for 30+ years. He has been teaching many forms of Chi goon and Tai chi for the last 20 years. Will makes the internal martial arts accessible and fun.
Nature Supported Art of Slowing Down
Janet Wilson-Binstock is an experienced Energy Worker, life long nature enthusiast, and teacher trained in practices of anxiety and stress reduction for restored health. Using focused breathing and connection to the outdoors, we can significantly change the effects of stress on our body, mind, and spirit.
Join us for a simple practice in nature that promises to have a strong impact for helping us to slow down, breathe, restore body balance, reduce effects of stress and address the triggers that cause the stresses.
