Breakfast under the Branches: Aquatic Invasives

Aquatic Invasives

Date: Saturday, August 7, 2021
Time: 9:30 am – 11:00 am

Aquatic invasive species (AIS) are the species that invade our lakes, rivers, and wetlands and pose a significant threat to our native ecosystems. We’ll learn about common AIS such as zebra mussels, Eurasian water milfoil, banded mystery snails, and curly leaf pondweed, invasive bighead, silver, grass, and black carp.

Presenter Katie Sickmann is the Invasive Species Program Coordinator for the St. Croix River Association (SCRA). SCRA is committed to protecting the St. Croix River and its watershed from the threats posed by invasive species.
