During this two-part series, we’ll focus on how nature can help improve our mental, emotional, and physical health. Enjoy four-45 minute stations that will help you discover new ways to stay healthy by spending time in nature. Exploratory stations will give you the opportunity to try your hand at something new!

Meditation, Water Color, Canoe, & Journal

Join Denis Murray in learning the basics of meditation. Denis will be focusing on Sound and Walking Meditation techniques.

Kerri Ashlin, from Rice Lake Public Library, will be teaching a bleeding tissue paper watercolor technique.

Nikki Janisin, Executive Director of Hunt Hill, will be leading the canoeing station. Enjoy a paddle on the pristine lakes of Hunt Hill as she points out various sights along the way.

Hunt Hill Program Director Sage Dunham will be leading the nature journaling station.

Yoga, Photography, Hike, & Wild Edibles

Local yoga instructor, Deb Johnson, will be leading a station on the basics of yoga.

Larry Samson, former press reporter and photographer, will be teaching the basics of nature photography. He’s graciously offered the use of his equipment for participants.

A Hunt Hill staff member will lead a peaceful hike through nature.
