FOHHAS is actively monitoring the COVID-19 recommendations through the Wisconsin Department of Public Health, the CDC and the Washburn County Health Department. The safety of our visitors, members, staff, and volunteers is our top priority.

As of 8.2.21 Washburn County is now an area of ‘substantial’ levels of community transmission. Due to this change in status, the CDC and Washburn County Health advises all individuals, regardless of vaccination status, wear a mask when indoors in public. This recommendation will apply to all visitors at Hunt Hill during this time. Thank you for your support and understanding.

The Hunt Hill office will be open M-F 9am-3pm. Visitors can ring the doorbell to the farmhouse and a staff member will greet them outside.

Recognizing the importance time in nature has on each person’s mental and physical health, our trails remain open. Trail maps can be found online or in the kiosk in front of the farmhouse. The Richard Grand Recreation Hall’s outdoor bathroom remains open, but should be used at your own risk as we are unable to disinfect it between each use. Disinfecting spray is provided in the bathroom for visitors to clean surfaces before and after use.

Programs: Until further notice, scheduled programs will continue to be held outdoors and require early registration. As long as the State allows groups to gather, we plan to continue outdoor programs. Check out the Program tab to stay up to date on current programs and cancellations.

Safety:  In order to offer events and programs in the safest manner possible, plans have been developed to reflect the needs and limitations of Hunt Hill and in accordance with recommendations from the CDC.
