CUSTODIAL & MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT
The Custodial & Maintenance Assistant position is a seasonal position, running from the end of April to early October each year. The primary job responsibilities are janitorial, but may also include regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, simple repairs, trail maintenance, tree removal, and other tasks as needed to support the Head of Custodial & Maintenance.
SCHOOL FIELD TRIP ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATOR
School field trip environmental educators teach pre-made environmental-themed lessons to school field trips. Grade levels vary but the majority of students are in elementary and middle school. Educators get to build their own schedules based on their own availability and the field trip sessions available. This is a great position for a person who is retired, is a homemaker with children in school, works part-time, or has a flexible schedule. Shifts typically start between 8:30 and 9:00 am and end by 3:00.
SUMMER ENVIRONMENTAL EDUCATOR
We are looking to hire four Summer Environmental Educators! Summer Environmental Educators at Hunt Hill are Individual Placements who serve through WisCorps. As a Summer Environmental Educator, you will work with the Program Coordinator to implement effective and interactive environmental education programs for youth at our facility. You will develop and implement fun, hands-on environmental education programs, primarily for youth ages 7-12 years old in Hunt Hill’s Youth Day Camp program; supervise youth campers during Hunt Hill activities and ensure their safety, and assist with various operations throughout the camp. Environmental Educators can expect a fun, welcoming work atmosphere that provides invaluable job experience.

SUMMER GROUP ASSISTANT
Group Assistants (GA) act as support staff to Summer Environmental Educators by assisting in small group management, activity set up, activity clean up and other tasks necessary to run successful and safe summer day camp programs. Group Assistants will not be responsible for managing a group of children on their own. Groups will typically include 12-15 children, divided into 2 age groups of 7-12 year olds. Training in daily schedules, staff expectations, emergency procedures, and working with youth will be provided. Group Assistants will be ready to start work at 9:00am and will finish by 1:15pm each scheduled day.
ASSISTANT CAMP COOK
The Assistant Cook will provide food service for residential programs and special events, as scheduled in advance throughout the summer. The Assistant Cook will be expected to cook healthy, quality food in a clean and friendly atmosphere. This position reports to the Group Coordinator.
