Summer is almost here, and we need help to officially open camp! Volunteers are needed to help clean, organize, wash, wipe and rake-up camp.

Time: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm

Program Fee: Free. There is no cost to attend, but we highly recommend registering in advance to ensure we have enough food prepared for lunch.

Location: Hunt Hill Audubon Sanctuary. Meet in the Upper Level of the Richard Grand Recreation Hall.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Volunteers are needed to help clean, organize, wash, wipe, and rake-up camp. All ages and skill levels are invited; there’s something for everyone!

What to Wear? Volunteers are encouraged to dress in layers, wear comfortable closed-toed shoes, and wear clothes that can get dirty. Gloves will be available, but we recommend bringing a pair if you have them. 

Tasks include washing camp dishes and opening up our kitchen for the season, cleaning out flower beds, deep cleaning cabins, prepping our kid’s area, putting out bog mats, clearing trails, opening up buildings for the season, and more. Special projects include small construction projects and moving furniture and equipment. 

Equipment is provided for all tasks.

Food:  Volunteers are treated to a continental breakfast and a warm lunch.

Restrooms will be available for use in the Recreation Hall throughout the day.
