Cakes at the Lake is an all-you-care-to-eat breakfast which features buttermilk and specialty pancakes, sausage, fresh fruit, and beverages. Following the breakfast, guests are encouraged to stay for the free nature program sponsored by Long Lake Preservation Association. The Buzz about Bumble Bees with Susan Carpenter
Join UW-Madison Arboretum’s WI Native Plant Garden Curator, Susan Carpenter, as she helps us discover the life history, ecology, and healthy habitats of Wisconsin’s native bumble bee species. Learn to identify the species that live in your region, and how you can help with pollinator conservation.
Breakfast: 8:00 am – 9:45 am; Program: 10:00 am – 11:00 am
Program Fee: $8/person; $5/child (ages 4-12 years old); Free for children ages 3 & under
Location: Hunt Hill Nature Center
