Consider donating to Hunt Hill in memory of a loved one.
Memorial Donations
We offer the following Memorial options:
- Memorial Donation: Unrestricted donations help us provide programming, maintain trails, and keep our facilities up to date. A memorial donation may be a one-time gift or a recurring gift, and may be for a specific item. Make a memorial donation by clicking here.
- A Named Scholarship: Scholarships are accepted to a standing scholarship fund where donations may be given to a school class, a child, or to a specific program at Hunt Hill. Scholarships can be of any amount. Contact Hunt Hill for additional details on how to make a donation.
- Leopold Bench: You may dedicate a Leopold bench (so named for the Wisconsin native conservationist), or a trex bench with a plaque honoring your loved one. The plaque will stay for the life of the bench. New benches are built in February every year. Contact Executive Director, Nikki Janisin, for more details.
- Memory Stones: Pick up one of our memory stones and walk the Memory Trail at Hunt Hill. You can place the stone anywhere along the edge of the path as a way of remembering and memorializing your loved one. These stones are small and gathered from the immediate area. They represent the ancient glacial history of this land. We ask that you remain on the designated path. Time and weather may move the small stones around, but the feeling you bring to the act of choosing and placing a stone, and the memories of someone special to you will become a part of the land we all love. The Memory Trail is designated as the Kinglet trail on the Hunt Hill map. There is a small platform at the trailhead containing a collection of memory stones.
- Celebration of Life: For information about hosting a Celebration of Life at Hunt Hill, check out our Facility Rentals page, or contact our Group Coordinator, Sage Dunham, at 715-635-6543 or email [email protected].
