Soup Lunch: Logging with Horses

Warm yourself with a bowl of soup while enjoying camaraderie and conversation at Hunt Hill Nature Center! Each month features a different guest speaker, along with a delicious lunch of soup, crackers, cheese, and dessert provided by Hunt Hill. We strongly encourage participants to bring their own bowl, mug, and cutlery to reduce waste. Lunch: 12:00 – 12:30 pm; Program: 12:30 – 1:30 pm
Program Fee: $10/person; Hunt Hill Members: $7/member
Location: Richard Grand Recreation Hall, Hunt Hill Nature Center
Registration is not required, but strongly encouraged. Limit: 80 people
Logging with Horses – with Taylor Johnson, Logger and Owner of Skinner Horse Logging
As far back as Taylor can trace his family, they have been working with horses and mules in the woods. While times have changed, the efficiency of using animals in the forest has stayed the same.
